World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrade of items is a crucial part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enchantments of items.

They also provide bonus effects and improvements. They are available through the Blacksmith.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each item recycled adds a level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapons

When the weapon is upgraded it will gain a base damage bonus as well as a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon may also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components, which provide additional features or effects and some even have distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. The majority of them require that the equipment is equipped with an upgrade slot and meets certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor, or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that increases certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.

After the weapon has reached its maximum level of upgrade, it can then be modified to give different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Several of these upgrades can be used at once, and their effects vary depending on the quality of the weapon.

Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage that a weapon inflicts.

It is generally recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, then armour defense, and then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon prior to any other gear, since this helps maximise DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments that can enhance a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item upgrades allow players to increase the stats base of certain armor pieces, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also give additional effects, for example, more damage or an enhancement to the appearance of. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.

The upgrade of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. In the majority of cases the armor will be upgraded to next level once an upgrade is applied. This can be done for all types of armor, though certain types of armor cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).

Most armor upgrades offer a small increase to an item's base defense or strength. Some upgrade components, however could result in significant improvements in defense or strength. This is especially relevant when upgrading epic items.

Certain upgrades grant special abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial for example, the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Upgrades to armor could require multiple attempts, based on the type of armor. For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has a base defense between 67-77 and it goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations is home to the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Some armors offer a significant boost in the reduction of the damage caused by poison spells, curses, magic or fire.  item upgrades  makes them useful for certain builds. Additionally, there are ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration or the challenger trait to lower the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

By placing a potion on the stand for brewing, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new effect tier, and can be repeated for more potencies.

The potion also gets a custom color code, that the player can pick via /give, and that alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the potions' particle effects.

The water bottle, a common, thick and awkward potions now have a new texture of brewing. Add potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. Addition of lingering potions, that can be prepared using Dragon breath or splash potions. Additionally, there is a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket could be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece of jewelry. It could be a ring, necklace or even a tiny flag that is used to identify a boat's lateen yard. It could also refer to a gilded trinket that is attached to the mast of a boat.

This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more common. At present, this trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives every floor an X% chance to contain an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket require an amount of energy.

This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to influence the dungeon and increase the likelihood of generating grass and water. This trinket at the current level will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed armor or weapons, or items that are generated to help solve hazards rooms.

While it looks like a normal newt's eye, this mystical item seems to affect your vision in ways that go beyond simply reducing your field of view. This trinket, at the moment level, boosts the health gained by drinking healing potion and wells of life by X%, and also gives mind sight to enemies within the Y tile. This does not stack with Heightened Senses.

After completing the Mastery Cave after completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

If you have a trinket which requires upgrading then place it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will have a random effect on the trinket, either increasing its duration or enhancing its effects. You can reforge a Trinket as many times as you like, but it will always have an impact that is different from the one you had when you forged it.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by just a little.
